Wildharmony believes in the importance of high quality outdoor learning experiences for students of all ages. We have experience of working with students across the key stages.
We think that the outdoors has something to offer everyone and we work with groups of students of all abilities. Everyone learns differently and outdoor learning can often be a way of re-engaging students who might currently be under achieving as well as being an inspiring and rewarding experience for gifted and talented students it can be a good way of balancing academic achievement with valuable life skills.
Our opportunities for learning outside the classroom can contribute to four of the five outcomes that are part of the Every Child Matters Framework:
- 1. Be healthy
- 2. Stay safe
- 3. Enjoy and achieve
- 4. Make a positive contribution.
As well as supporting the Government’s “Education outside the Classroom Manifesto” and the DCSF's initiative “Excellence and Enjoyment”.
