Wild Skills
Fire by friction, shelter building, woodcraft, tool use, wildfoods and tracking are some of the many skills you could expect to learn on one of our exciting skill days, camps and courses; all aimes at exploring and discovering through hands-on practical skills sessions, how to rely on what the natural world provides for us.
We are based in the beautiful and rugged Redesdale valley in North northumberland just a few miles from the Scottish border and many of our courses are run from here. We use several different sites to ensure we are using the best location for the particular skills we are focusing on. We can also travel to your location if you have access to a suitable site.
Wildharmony works in partnership with the National Trust at Cragside and Wallington and delivers a limited number of courses from the grounds of this property. We are also developing an exciting project at Brinkburn Estate in Rothbury, which offers course participants the chance to learn bushcraft skills in an unspoilt and exclusive location in the Coquet Valley.

Bushcraft weekend
This weekend course will give you an introduction into the world of campcraft and outdoor living skills. The course is designed so you will be able to set up a tented wild camp, start a fire and prepare a meal for a short term or overnight stay while on the trail
