Forest schools programmes can be tailored to suit any age range, and provide an ideal way of complimenting aspects of the early years foundation stage, the national curriculum and lifelong learning. Participants have the opportunity to use tools, build shelters, help to light fires, whittle sticks, enjoy their natural surroundings, encounter wildlife, jump in puddles, and get dirty!
