The course is designed so you will be able to set up a tented wild camp, start a fire and prepare a meal for a short term or overnight stay while on the trail.

These workshop days, held in the beautiful grounds of the Cragside estate near Rothbury, are aimed at groups of all ages. A day’s activities include shelter building, fire skills and knots and cordage.

Meet the Countryside Team who manage Wallington's vast woodland and explore all things to do with wood. There will be practical demos of wood working and woodland crafts such as chainsaw carving, axe throwing and horse logging.
